Behind The Scenes
Meet Jim, our Head Brewer! Jim has been brewing professionally since 1999 and has won medals at both the GABF and World Beer Cup. Outside of brewing Jim enjoys playing poker, well not just playing but winning! His favorite food is Mexican, specifically carnitas and his favorite beer all depends on the season, his mood and the brewer who brews it!
Meet Sarah, our official curtain puller and owner! She is our tech guru, updates our website, handles our accounting and a lot of the behind the scenes day to day business! Sarah has a passion for stand up paddle boarding and says the coolest place she’s ever boarded was the canals of Venice! In her (minimal) spare time she is also an adjunct professor teaching assistive technology classes.
Meet Sara, our BCB Taproom Manager and the one behind out social media presence! You’ll often find her snapping photos, booking events, and designing swag. She joined the BCB team after spending nearly a decade planning large scale alcohol and food festivals all over the East Coast. Outside of the taproom she has a passion for fun socks, traveling and pizza, always pizza!
Chef Dave is our Food Truck Manager and Executive Chef! Dave typically smells like fresh charcoal and can usually be found basting whole hogs & coming up with new sauce flavors. Dave’s love of food started at a very early age, in fact in the 4th grade he got written up for walking to lunch too fast! Outside of the food truck Dave loves to golf, fish or anything on the water.
Joe is our in house Mr. Fix It and Special Projects Manager. Joe enjoys eating pasta and watching Game of Thrones on repeat! His favorite beer style is Stout and he has had a coffee stout on our menu named after him, Mornin’ Joe!
Meet Beth, assistant to the brewer. She is the inspiration behind our gluten free cider and gluten free beer. Beth is passionate about inclusivity within the beer community and is a member of the Pink Boots Society. When she is not brewing, you’ll find her watching Law & Order: SVU. Her one request is that “you bring all of your dogs here all of the time”.
